These audio interventions are juxtapositions of collected media from a specific time and place (Iceland, Feb 1—April 30, 2020). They are meant to provide an aural and spatial frame of reference for the visual work you see in this installation. Some sounds might be direct documentation of what you’re seeing (the sound of a pencil on paper), some might be abstracted sounds from the landscape, and some might be undecipherable. But: they are all from the time and place where this work was created and offer an intimate kind of glimpse into an artist’s process. Audio interventions by CK Field.
